Today Christopher went back to work...It has made me realize how fast everything has gone by. The night before I went to the hospital, I made a conscious effort to remember life before babies because I knew everything would go by in a flash. It has been similar to my wedding experience. So much preparation and over so quickly, it really is bitter sweet. I miss feeling the girls flutter in my tummy but certainly don't miss how uncomfortable they made me in the last few weeks! Everyone has come and gone and now it is just us. The girls are making us so happy and we are elated to finally be parents and watch these miracles grow every day. I just wish they wouldn't grow so quickly! It makes me appreciate the moments with loved ones, because they become memories far too soon.
