For the last three nights, I have been encouraging the girls to sit on the potty that Aunt Katie gave them for Christmas. The first night, I made the mistake of allowing them to brush their teeth (as a distraction) while they sat on the potty. Each night after, they both have wanted to brush their own teeth. Tonight we did not allow that and Lauren sat like a big girl while I filled the tub for a bath. She reached around and then looked down like something was going on. I peeked in and Voila! Pee! I think it is so funny what life has now become. We called both of our parents tonight and are rejoicing at a toddler doing something most of us do many times a day without thinking. Tonight we took one giant leap closer to life without diapers :-)
