This morning we woke up and I took great joy in making a delicious breakfast for my two favorite girls! We had French Toast with strawberries and blueberries...yum! While the girls waited for me to finish making breakfast, they watched Daddy put the finishing touches on making the girls a ice cream birthday cake. Afterwards, the girls got to open a gift and discovered new sandals that they elected to wear today. We went upstairs to get dressed; the girls wanted to go to church this morning and Sunday School with Ms. Lydia :-) The girls had a great time at Sunday school. The Hornicks followed us to lunch at the Golden Corral where we ran into the Boback family! It was such a treat to see Renee and for Renee to see the girls wearing the outfits she'd bought for them for their special day.
Later this evening we opened gifts at home and the girls enjoyed swimming on back porch in their new pools. For the last few days, Daddy had been working hard on his gift to the girls; a homemade ice cream cake. Chocolate and Vanilla with crunchies in the middle, it tasted just like a Carvel from the store! After dinner and dessert, Daddy took the girls outside to shoot off some bottle rockets. The girls had a fabulous 3rd birthday!
