Sunday morning, Aug. 9, 2009 the girls and I left early to pick up Nana at the airport. She flew in to help me drive to take the girls on their first trip to New Hampshire! We left around 9:00am and arrived at my parent's home around 9:30pm. It was a very long trip but the babies did very well considring how young they are. We spent the week enjoying the company of Nana and Grandpa, Aunt Danielle, Great-grandmother Lucienne, Great Aunt Francine, Great Aunt Celine, Second Cousins Jackie, Brielle, Miranda, and Paul, and Great Uncles Ronnie, Donald and Gary. We were able to celebrate my father's 61st birthday on Saturday night complete with gifts and an ice cream cake; his favorite! Alivia surprised us all on Saturday night Aug. 15 when she slept through the night for the first time! 8:30pm to 5:45am!!! I was also able to capture smiles from Lauren on camera while visiting. Unfortunately our time had to end and on Sunday morning, Aug.16th, Nana and I drove home to Maryland. She left us on Monday Aug. 17th when I took her to the airport to head home.
