We got our first real snowfall of the year today. It started around 10:00am and continued until just around 4:30pm. I left work early as the tires in the Carolla are just about as bald as my Uncle Donald! It was awesome to spend the day with my girls and husband who was regularly scheduled off of work. We've been working hard at preparing our home for the arrival of my family next week. I can't wait to have them here! Chris and I took the girls grocery shopping later this evening and took care of most everything...Once at the store, we realized that the entire list didn't print. Later tonight I went back to the grocery store to get the last bit of goods needed for our festivities. I came home and made butterscotch haystacks and then feel into bed exhausted. My freezer barely shuts and the top of the fridge looks like a baker's dream. The cabinets are loaded and I think we are nearing "ready"...
