This morning Chris and I took the babies to the Ross' house to exchange our gifts for Christmas. This year was quite different than the last! Alivia picked up on how to open gifts right away and even opened a few that didn't have her name on them (like Katie's gift from Chris and I)! Lauren took pleasure in playing with each of her toys as they were opened and was even very neat about it, taking each shred of paper back to an adult after tearing it away from a gift.

Later this morning, Chris and I went to a cookie exchange at a friends house and stayed to watch the disgusting loss to the Cowboys. We had a great time with good friends and enjoyed the break while the extended family took pleasure in babysitting :-)
