MAN! It is CRAZY how time flies so FAST! I haven't blogged here in what feels like forever :-) Ok so updates...
On March 12 Chris took me to a beautiful dinner for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful evening and it reminded me how nice it can be to get out of the house without children! The following day I took him golfing at Blue Mash and had so much fun!
April saw me through the last of my academic classes and the submission of the longest and most difficult paper I've ever written...and I got a B+!! We have FINALLY begun work on finishing our basement and have hired someone to help us. We got a storage unit this month and have now cleared some space for work to begin in May.
This past weekend was one of the best I've had in a long time. I spent the better part of last week baking and making cakes for graduation. Friday evening (5/6), my Mom and sister arrived for a visit! Saturday morning I graduated with my Master's from a social work program that took a lot of time, effort and energy away from me over the last couple of years. I am so thankful to finally be done and spend more time at home. The ceremony was beautiful and my Mom and sister were joined by Tom and Aunt Sandi, as well as Jes and Stephen. Afterwards, Mom and Sis took the girls back to my house and Chris and I rushed off for the wedding of our two friends. We had a fantastic time and spent the night at Chris parent's house. The next morning was mother's day and we enjoyed coffee and donuts with his mom and Aunt Sandi. We spent the rest of the afternoon at home with my Mom and sister and later that evening went out to dinner.
This week I am preparing for a week long trip to Florida! We will be gone May 17-24 and I am SO excited!!! We will get to see lots of family; many of whom have never met the babies. I pray for our safety and pleasure. I'll try to keep ya posted!!!
