There's a prize if you can tell me what Jicama is...Our twins' arms, legs and bodies continue to fill out - and they are finally proportional in size to their heads. By 32 weeks, they weigh about 3.3 pounds/1.5 kilograms each (the weight of a Jicama) and look more like newborns. You can expect them to gain at least one and a half pounds/600 grams more before birth. They measure about 16 inches/ 41 centimetres from crown to toe. Our girls' organs are continuing to mature and they are passing large amounts of water through their bladders: good practice for the urinating they'll do after birth. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.

Jicama is a root. We buy it to put in our salads. It's crunchy and watery. It works like a waterchestnut to add texture, but not much flavor to a dish. What's my prize? :)
