Christopher has had quite an exciting few days. On Friday, (his actual birthday) I took Chris to Red Lobster for dinner with a gift card he received from my family. We then walked around the mall and he was able to buy a video game with another gift card from them. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening.
On Saturday (5/16)morning I took the dogs to a friends home for the day. I came home and picked up Chris and took him to Olney to get his sister Katie. The three of us then went to Wheaton Library (at Chris' request). Afterwards the three of us went back to Hagerstown. Chris had been told that his parents would be coming to Hagerstown for dinner. However, I had different plans. I took him to a restaurant where a friend of mine was celebrating her husband's birthday. We had a good time and after we left we went to pick up a birthday cake. Upon our arrival at home, Chris was greeted by many of his friends who were there to surprise him for his birthday. Chris had a great time and at the end of the evening even remarked that it was "the best birthday ever".
On Sunday (5/17) Chris' parents are going to actually come to Hagerstown and have dinner with us. We are going to go to the Red Curry, Thai and Chinese restaurant. Monday (5/18), Steve is going to take Chris golfing. I'd say that's a heck of a birthday weekend for a very lucky man!
