This evening I had the distinct pleasure of taking my sweet Alivia out on the town. I needed to go find a birthday gift for a party they were invited to, so she and I went and browsed ToysRUs and then walked around the mall. It was such a treat to get this one-on-one time with her. It melted my heart to have her grip my fingers tight and walk like a big girl around to all the shops. She enjoyed watching the dancing snowman at Hallmark but ran and hid when she saw Ronald McDonald sitting on the park bench. We found her a pair of big girl winter boots and she happily showed them off to Daddy and a very envious Lauren. (Lauren is my shoe loving girl) I am off of work tomorrow and will be working on shores around the house. I plan to take my Lauren out for awhile alone then.
