Lauren began saying "bubble" today...which brings me to an update...
As of today, Lauren can say: Mommy, Daddy, Hi, Bye-bye, Green, Whee!, Tim (as in Timber), Nana and Doggy, two and three.
Alivia can say Mommy, Daddy, Hi, bye-bye, Mi-Mi (for Grammy). While she doesn't speak much English, she is gifted at frequently speaking her own "twin speak". They can also use sign language to ask for "more".
Lauren and Alivia both know the command to "Sit down" and Alivia knows "lay down". Both know what it means when I say "Let's go upstairs and go to bed" and immediately take off to climb the stairs for their room. They know how to go down the slide on command and also (my personal favorite) how to give kisses! They know how to clean-up when asked and even sing the "clean up song"!
