Veteran's Day
This morning Alivia and I woke up at 6am and went to Robinwood Surgery Center to have the tube placed in her left ear. This surgery went very well, was quick and the doctor was pleased. He even told me that he would recommend that we cancel her appointments in Baltimore and "wait to see how things go", since she "looks like a different kid". I agree, we'll wait and pray that this was the answer!
After we were allowed to go home, we joined Daddy and Lauren for breakfast at home. We packed the van and headed down to Rockville to see Aunt Kelly and Uncle Dan. They are visiting from San Diego and haven't seen the girls since our trip at the end of May. We played at a nearby park and Aunt Katie and PopPop (Tom) even tagged along for some fun. After the park, we did dinner bath and bedtime at the house before Chris and I headed home. The girls went to bed well and we were able to get home around 9pm. The girls will stay in Rockville until Sunday. Chris, Liz and I will join them on Saturday night after my class.
