My babies are sleeping in toddler beds tonight. I have to admit, they haven't made a sound and I am quietly proud at how well behaved they were for such a big change. The girls have taken over the Master Bedroom of the house and Chris and I have made a big deal about how they are now "BIG girls" and even pulled out their "big girl blankets" and "big girl pillows" made by Nana for this BIG day. Two days ago I painted the room so it would be fresh and clean for them and today is the big move in day. They were so excited and showed their enthusiasm for their new room by running throughout the house and jumping on their "new" beds. I know not every night will be this easy, but for tonight I am torn between being a proud Momma and a somber one that this particular page in their books has come to an end.
