Update...a little late.

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick update on how things are going :) For the most part everything is still pretty darn great and we absolutely can not wait for Thursday morning when we will pray the babies will cooperate so that we will know the sexes of our beautiful babies!

I have recently discovered the terrible trouble that is called Round Ligament Pain. On Sunday afternoon, my stomache began aching and when I got home, I laid down and tried to rest to no avail. That evening I woke up at about 2am and the pain was so bad, I asked Chris to take me to the Emergency Room. Even though there was a 3 hour wait, we were actually seen quickly for an ultrasound. I am thanking God that the babies appear to be "perfect" as the sonographer states (heart rate, and movement looking great). My blood work and urinalysis came back showing no infection and clear liver, kidney and bladder. The ER dotor suggested that I may have pulled a muscle or severely strained a ligament and gave me some reading material on round ligament pain. Basically, my stomache is streching very quickly (because of two growing babies) and can have a tendency to cause quite a bit of pain. So this is causing me to take more time to rest which I will certainly not complain about :)

I am so thankful that they are ok, and it was interesting how fast my mentality has changed. On Sunday night, my only prayer was that they would be ok. Anything else, I could handle...I think the "Mom" mentality has set in...

Hi Michelle

I was checking your blog this morning hoping to find out the sex of your babies and I am sorry to learn you had such severe pains.
Yes your maternal instincs are in full gear, nothing is more important then the welfare of our children whether they are babies or 40 years old. We are mothers for ever.

Love you,

Aunt Diane
