We've just gotten our first real winter storm of the year. School was cancelled for 2 1/2 days and everything pretty much stopped because no one could drive on the ice. I've felt a number of times that it might just be a good idea to invest in come cleats for walking in the ice. Boots may have been a good idea for Sydney who played outside with Chris with such enthusiasm, she ended up coming in with bloody paws :( Overall we got about 2 inches of snow and about as much in ice right on top of the snow.
